Rockstar has made good on their promise to release all of the pre-order bonus content to the public near the launch window of L.A. Noire. However, they've done so in a way that's rather unique. The Rockstar Pass is now available for $10 over Xbox LIVE (the PS3 will get its content once the PlayStation Store is restored).

GamePro has it that the Rockstar Pass is a limited time offer. You won't be able to score all of the game's downloadable content at this price once this offering is said and done with. DLC from Rockstar is typically priced appropriately at around $10-15 per pack. With the Rockstar Pass you'll be able to get every bit of the game's currently announced downloadable content for the one time price of $10.

Here's what's being offered in the pack, according the

The L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass includes all the following: The Broderick Detective Suit, The Sharpshooter Detective Suit, The Badge Pursuit Challenge & Button Man Suit, "The Naked City" Vice Case, "A Slip Of The Tongue" Traffic Case, "Nicholson Electroplating" Arson Case and "Reefer Madness" Vice Case. Individual items will become available to download when released.

Out of the full roster of content listed above, the "Nicholson Electroplating" Arson Case and the "Reefer Madness" Vice Case are not available yet. Those are set to release further down the line. Once you buy the pass, the games will be available to you upon launch at no extra charge.

While L.A. Noire definitely wasn't built with every gamer in mind, I know that my friends and I started dying for fresh content the moment the game's closing credits rolled. Now we'll have access to the suits and cases we didn't snag through pre-order as well as the promise of those additional offerings to come.
