Kingdom Hearts continues in the tradition of stupid titles with Square Enix’s confirmation of Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue for the PlayStation 4. Much like the last two REmix bundles, this one will also be another HD outing remastering several older games in the franchise.

The bundle’s main attraction is set to be an HD remaster of the Nintendo 3DS game Dream Drop Distance HDThis is the last major game in the franchise which has not been given this HD remaster treatment yet, meaning Square Enix obviously wanted to crank it out before Kingdom Hearts III hits the market.

Other features in the bundle includes the HD cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts X[chi] Back Cover and a short episode from  Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep: A Fragmentary Passage. See what I mean about these titles? It seems pretty standard for what the other bundles offered even though the main game in question isn’t as big as Kingdom Hearts or Kingdom Hearts II.

Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4, separate from the previous two remaster bundles as well.
