Kindle Fire HD 2013 vs Kindle Fire HD 2012

The new Kindle Fire HD has arrived, and while it may not be a power house tablet, it’s hard to beat at just $139.

Even though this may be a low-end tablet, there are still those in the world who would like to know how it stacks up against the model it’s replacing. While Amazon doesn’t reveal absolutely every spec of its tablets, we’ve gathered up what is avaialble to let you know how things have changed. It’s fairly obvious that Amazon would prefer for you pick up one of the upcoming HDX models, but if you have a limited budget, the HD will still be a decent enough choice.

This year’s Fire HD won’t be setting the tablet world on… well… fire, but it will still definitely fulfill the needs of some.
