In the final trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Chris Pratt’s character (Owen) boops a tranquilized T-Rex before almost being devoured in one bite. And that’s not even the craziest thing that happens in the latest footage.

Apparently, there exists an entire black market for selling dinosaurs, including Owen’s beloved Blue, a raptor that acts as his sidekick when things get dangerous. Seriously, Blue becomes Owen’s attack dog on more than one occasion throughout the trailer, protecting him as Blue would her own kin.

The newest footage paints an entirely different picture compared to what’s we’ve seen previously. The earlier trailers suggested the movie was some kind of absurd rescue mission, which it is. But there’s also some kind of sinister plot to capture the dinosaurs and sell them, because that’s not going to end badly.

I’m a little more intrigued by the twist, but it begs the question: Has humanity learned nothing? Jurassic Park could already be interpreted as an allegory. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom ramps that up to an all new level. Maybe we shouldn’t try to sell or contain animals for our amusement.
