Judge Lucy Koh, the judge who has presided over the Apple v Samsung case in the United States, is begging the two firms to resolve ongoing disputes. Her words sound almost desperate, too. "When is this case going to resolve?" She asked recently, following three hours of additional arguments between the two companies on Thursday. "I'm not joking… I've said this all along," she continued. "I think it's time for global peace. If there is any way this court can facilitate some sort of resolution, I'd like to do that. I think it would be good for consumers and good for the industry."

Samsung said that the ball in in Apple's court, according to The Financial Times. Apple has also repeatedly said that it hates litigation but has to defend its products and push other companies to create unique technologies instead of creating copy cat devices.
