John Malkovich, the actor famous for movies such as Being John Malkovich, Burn After Reading, and Con Air, is the star of two new Apple commercials for the iPhone 4S, entitled "Joke" and "Life."

Just like all of its iPhone 4S commercials to date, Apple's latest teasers focus on Siri, its voice-controlled assistant. In the first 30-second clip — which you can see above — Malkovich asks Siri to tell him a joke, to which she replies, "two iPhones walk into a bar… I forget the rest."

In the second — which you can see below — he asks for the meaning of life, to which Siri replies, "try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try to live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations."

You may already be familiar with these witty responses, because they were part of the many that went viral shortly after Siri's debut.

These differ from Apple's most recent iPhone 4S adverts, in that the Cupertino company has chosen to focus on Siri's "personality" rather than its ability to perform tasks, like creating reminders, settings alarms, checking the weather, and playing music. Though in the "Joke" ad, Malkovich does ask Siri to do some of these things.

Malkovich is the third celebrity to feature in an iPhone 4S commercial, following those that featured Samuel L. Jackson and Zooey Deschanel.
