If you're completely unfamiliar with how the Shonen Jump cross-over fighting games work, these three videos should give you a pretty solid idea. Bandai Namco announced that J-Stars Victory VS+ would be making the jump from Japan to the rest of the world, and the opening of the English site includes three new battle trailers.

I've placed the Dragon Ball stuff at the top because it's the most… normal. Shonen Jump spans a whole lot of series, from Dragon Ball to One Piece and Bleach. It also includes absolutely bonkers stuff like Dr. Slump and Tottemo! Luckyman. Speaking of which, here's Arale Norimaki from Dr. Slump taking on Luckyman from Tottemo! Luckyman. It's glorious.

Right, like I said, ridiculous. The appeal to J-Stars Victory VS+ will come from crossing series together and battling it out with your favorite characters. Why not put Frieza against Sanji? Sounds awesome to me.

Finally, this one is a bit less ridiculous than the ever glorious Tottemo! Luckyman. Here we have two characters from Beelzebub and Chinyuuki.

J-Stars Victory VS+ is set to hit the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita this summer. We'll have more on the game as it comes.
