Apple has updated its iWork for iCloud page with an announcement that an update is coming later today, likely right after Apple’s iPad 5 keynote. The page now says: “We’re updating pages for iCloud! In just a few short hours, you’ll be able to create and edit documents, and enjoy great new features.” Similar notes are displayed on the pages for Keynote and Numbers.

All three products are currently in beta on iCloud, though we imagine Apple will remove that status today as it finalizes features and introduces new ones. We’re also expecting these new features to be carried over to updated versions of the iWork suite for iOS and likely for OS X Mavericks, which will probably get a release date and pricing today.

Apple’s keynote kicks off at 10:00 a.m. Pacific, and we’re expecting announcements for an iPad mini 2, an iPad 5, likely a MacBook Pro refresh with Intel Haswell processors and a whole bunch more.
