Word on the street is that Sony is trying to pick up the feature-film rights to the upcoming Steve Jobs' biography Steve Jobs.

The book was written by former CNN chairman and Time Magazine managing editor Walter Isaacson and was originally set to be published on November 21, with the date for its release being pushed up to October 24 after Jobs' death last week. The biography is an authorized-biography in that Jobs had given Isaacson his blessing to write it, the contents based on 40 interviews Isaccson conducted with people in Jobs' life.

Sony was the studio behind The Social Network and Moneyball, both biographies turned hit movies. It wouldn't be surprising if the studio decided to pick up the rights to a Steve Jobs movie as well.

What do you think? Would you go see a Steve Jobs movie?
