Apple is reminding everyone the convenience of using your appearance for a password rather than letters and numbers. In its latest advertisement, the Cupertino-based company is promoting its TrueDepth camera system.

The new ad, called ‘Memory,’ shows the importance of Face ID in a world where we have so many passwords to remember. In the 90-second spot, a man participating in a gameshow gets stumped when he can’t remember his online banking password. Then the iPhone X steps in to help.

As the clock is counting down, the contestant grows increasingly stressed. He, like many of us, can’t remember every password we have. Finally, he takes out his iPhone X and that saves the day. He’s instantly logged into his online banking account.

In reality, the man isn’t in a gameshow at all. He’s actually in a coffee shop trying to get into his online banking account but still struggles to remember the credentials. Apple, though, definitely made it clear how difficult and stressful it is to get into an important account these days.

The TrueDepth camera system will reportedly return again in 2018 for all three iPhone models. Apple might focus on making the technology faster and more accurate, but it’s already pretty great. So we’ll see how it evolves this fall when Apple announces new hardware.
