An alleged new design sketch of the iPhone 7 surfaced recently. The images suggest, again, that this year’s iPhone will look quite similar to the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, save for a few cosmetic changes. This is not typical of Apple, which usually makes a large design change every two years.

One standout feature, however, is the camera. Nowhereelse, which published the image from OnLeaks recently, noticed that the cutout for the camera sensor is much larger than on last year’s iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. This suggests a bigger module that may result in better images than we already get with the iPhone.

Oddly, however, the dimensions appear to measure right up to that of the iPhone 6s which would suggest Apple won’t change the height or width at all. And, unfortunately, we don’t see a measurement of thickness; rumors have suggested Apple is trying to make this iPhone thinner than previous models.

I trust the sources here, both Nowhereelse and OnLeaks are usually reliable with leaks. It will indeed be very curious if Apple sticks to such a familiar design, however.
