The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are still a few months away, but a new leak may reveal fresh information about the upcoming smartphones. Fresh pictures of some alleged Apple components published by NoWhereElse offer us a look inside the future iPhones.

First of all, it looks like the power button, lock key, volume controls, camera and flash module will all be connected to a single circuit. That’s a big change from previous models where Apple used multiple connected sheets instead of just one. The upgrade suggests an even more compact design, and maybe a thinner frame for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Or, instead of a thinner frame, Apple may use that extra space to jam in a larger battery.

We also get a look at some camera rings for the new phone. Their design suggests the iPhone 6s will still include that annoying camera hump. However, it’s still unclear if Apple really plans to upgrade the rear lens to 12-megapixels up from its current 8-megapixels shooter.

Overall the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are expected to look almost identical to last year’s models, though they may still mark a significant upgrade. Rumor has it Apple will introduce Force Touch to the iPhone’s display along with an upgraded processor and a better camera. We may even get a pink color option this time around according to some reports.
