Apple on Friday began selling the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus SIM-free on its website. This is technically an unlocked iPhone, though as you already know that was an option if you signed up for Apple’s iPhone Upgrade Program or walked into a store and paid full-cost for a carrier-free version.

The SIM-free option is priced the same as the carrier-options but, as usual, doesn’t come with a contract or carrier financing. “And because it’s unlocked, it isn’t tied to one carrier, so you can get a nano-SIM from any supported carrier worldwide, such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, or Sprint in the United States,” Apple says on its website, recommending it as the best option for folks who travel outside of the United States.

The specific unlocked models are the iPhone 6s A1633 and the iPhone 6s Plus A1634. Hit the source to grab yours now.
