Apple didn’t just give the iPhone a baby upgrade. The company also went for broke with the iPhone 6 Plus, which features a 5.5-inch 1080p display. That might sound familiar to Android fans, but it’s a considerable jump in size for existing iPhone owners—it’s an inch and a half larger than something like the iPhone 5s. I hope you like big phones, because this thing is huge.

Of course, being on Apple’s more premium end of the spectrum, the device obviously has the better specs, along with that rounded design we saw so much over the past several months. Is it enough to get iPhone 5s owners to upgrade? That depends. If you like larger displays, the prospect is certainly tempting, and the addition of OIS to the iPhone 6 Plus is certainly hard to resist.

We’ll have some in-depth analysis on the iPhone 6 Plus when it’s available on Sept. 19, and dive even further to see how it compares to Apple’s iPhone 5s. Do you need that extra real estate, and do you frequently rely on the iPhone to take pictures? Are you also drawn toward Apple Pay? Then the iPhone 6 Plus (and iPhone 6) might be a worthy upgrade for existing owners.
