A fresh batch of iPhone photos leaked online this weekend, showing the molding and schematics for Apple’s rumored smartphone. Now we’re getting a closer look at one iPhone 6 injection mold, this time next to an iPhone 4s, to give us a sense of the new smartphone’s size.
The latest photo, courtesy of French site NoWhereElse, shows off the alleged iPhone 6 molding next to Apple’s 3.5-inch iPhone. A bit of geometry appears to confirm we’re looking at the parts used to craft the rumored 4.7-inch model, which Apple is expected to announce this fall. An even bigger iPhone 6 with a 5.5-inch screen is also rumored for later this year.
NoWhereElse isn’t ready to guarantee these photos are the real deal, and even suggests we could be looking at an unfinished iPhone 5 mold. Even so, it’s only a matter of time before Apple announces the iPhone 6, which is expected to pack a sharper display, thinner design and a new A8 processor in addition to its bigger screen. Considering how many leaks we’ve already seen for this device it probably won’t be long before the actual smartphone make an appearance online, and we’re hoping to hear more sometime around this fall.
