We already know when we’ll be able to pre-order the iPhone 6 and 6s (tonight at midnight Pacific) and when it will hit stores (Sept. 19), but Apple hasn’t officially said whether it will offer in-store pickup for its new smartphones. Now 9to5Mac has confirmed that Apple will let you skip the big lines next week if you pre-order ahead of time but want to pick up your new iPhone in person.

When pre-orders go live tonight Apple will offer the option to select a nearby store instead of choosing to have your new iPhone shipped straight to you during online checkout. Then on Sept.19, each Apple Store will have two lines: one for Personal Pickup and one for everyone else.

Apple even quietly confirmed the news on its website, where it says you can “pre-order iPhone 6 and have it shipped to you for free, or pick it up in store.” 9to5Mac also spoke to a company representative who said the option will be offered “at most stores,” but only “while supplies last.”

It sounds like Apple might have a limited number of new iPhones set aside for Personal Pickup, so if you’re interested we’d recommend reserving your iPhone 6 as soon as possible. Pre-orders open up at tonight 12:01 a.m. Pacific time.
