A new component that appears to be a piece of the iPhone 5S motherboard was recently leaked. A retailer in Japan named Moumantai provided images of the hardware, although it’s unclear what it is exactly. Nowherelese.fr took a look at the iPhone 5 motherboard and noticed that it appears to be one of the end pieces that helps to power the device’s flash and camera mechanisms.

The new component looks slightly different than that used on the iPhone 5, so it might belong to either the iPhone 5S or the new budget iPhone. There’s not much else we can discern from the image, but if Apple is tweaking the motherboard perhaps that means we’re going to be treated to a new camera or a relocated flash. So far we’ve also seen the alleged iPhone 5S front-facing camera, home button and flex cables.
