The iPad 5 launch should be announced in just a few weeks, but that's no reason to slow down on Apple leaks. If anything, the frequency of leaked iPad parts will only speed up as the rumored press event approaches, and today Sonny Dickson kicked things off with a massive gallery, showing the front and back panels of the fifth generation iPad in both Space Grey and Silver.

The new batch of photos of the alleged iPad 5 parts confirm much of what we already expected from the updated tablet, including thinner side bezels, re-oriented speaker grills and sharper edges, bringing the device in line with the iPad Mini's design. The rumored tablet is also expected to come equipped with Apple's new 64-bit A7 processor, a Touch ID sensor and improved battery life, though we won't know anything for sure until the company makes its official announcement.

According to recent reports, Apple will unveil the iPad 5 alongside the iPad Mini 2 at a special event in California scheduled for Oct. 22. It's also likely the company will discuss OS X Mavericks and reveal an updated MacBook Pro. Updated versions of Apple TV or the iPod line are also a possibility, and there's always that elusive iWatch, though Apple isn't expected to launch its first smartwatch until 2014.
