iOS 9 Beta 3-2

Apple on Tuesday released iOS 9 beta 4 and OS X 10.11 El Capitan beta 4 to developers.

This beta iOS 9 release follows the rollout of iOS 9 beta 3 on July 8, which included Apple Music — an app that first launched in iOS 8.4. It's unclear what's in the fourth beta, but we suspect it primarily focuses on performance enhancements and fixing bugs. iOS 9 is Apple's next big overhaul to its mobile operating system and will launch for everyone this fall. Speaking of everyone, the beta 4 release is not yet available to iOS 9 public beta testers.

Meanwhile, OS X 10.11 El Capitan is the next major version of OS X that will also be available to consumers in the coming months. As with iOS 9 beta 4, we don't yet know what the new release includes.

Developers should find the update on their iPhones and Macs now.
