Apple on Tuesday introduced the third beta for iOS 12.1, just 24 hours after issuing an update for iOS 12 that fixed a lot of nagging problems. The software is expected to be the next big update for iPhone owners, introducing the group FaceTime feature that was absent from the release of iOS 12.
If you’re a developer, you can download iOS 12.1 beta 3 as an over-the-air update.
In addition to group FaceTime, iOS 12.1 will also roll out support for eSIM and also dual SIM, the former of which will allow users to activate a cellular plan without the need for a physical SIM card.
iOS 12.1 features real-time Depth Control as well, giving users more control over Portrait Mode images before they’re shot. We’ll update this post of anything else of significance pops up.
