Instagram for Android on Thursday received a pretty substantial update, bringing parity to the app iPhone owners have enjoyed for some time now.

In the latest update, which is now up to version 4.1 for Android users, folks can now straighten their lunchtime masterpieces right from the app itself. New sound and data usage controls have also been added, while anyone running Ice Cream Sandwich and up now has access to the video function; videos can also be shared directly from your photo library. In addition to the update for Android, Instagram also updated its iOS app, though it only includes some minor bug fixes and enhancements.
