It’s been a while since we last checked in with Lab Zero Game’s Indivisible. Eight months have already passed since the Internet forgot all of its differences and banned together for but a brief, beautiful moment to make this RPG a crowd-funding success, and progress on the title is still underway. Everyone put their faith in the Skullgirls developer to turn out a brilliant RPG, and their faith has not been misplaced.
In fact, Lab Zero has already delivered on one of its promises made during the campaign. With aid from the folks at Truant Pixel, the studio has confirmed the release of the game’s dynamic PlayStation 4 theme. See it in motion in the video below.
No release date has been set for the theme, but Lab Zero says that it has been submitted through both Sony USA and UK and is awaiting license for release. I’m not usually one for dropping money on themes, but I do like what I see with Indivisible. Maybe I’ll break my pattern and throw a few dollars towards Lab Zero for it.
Indivisible was able to find success on the crowd-funding scene at a time when feelings towards failed Kickstarter projects couldn’t have been more cynical. Publications and indie developers alike found it wrong that such a promising title from an established studio suffered because that cynicism, and everyone joined together to pitch in and sell it to the world.
Its success was one of the biggest feel good stories of 2015.
If you like what you see, be sure to check out the official website where you can download a free prototype of the game through a large number of outlets. Indivisible is currently scheduled for a 2018 release on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
