Developer Campo Santo has been quiet for the past several months following the release of Firewatch in 2016. Turns out, the developer was hard at work on a new game, which was just unveiled at the Game Awards.

Called In the Valley of Gods, the game will find players exploring a remote part of Egypt in the 1920s.

Here’s the game’s official description:

In the Valley of Gods is a sprawling narrative experience in remote, 1920’s Egypt. You are Rashida, a disgraced former explorer and filmmaker given one last shot at the adventurous life you desperately miss. Somewhere, beyond the endless miles of dunes, ruins, and tombs lies an incredible archaeological discovery—but it can’t be found without the help of Zora, the former partner you vowed never to work with again.

Very intriguing.

Unfortunately, Campo Santo said the game isn’t scheduled to come out until 2019, so fans will have a long time to wait before the next adventure.

The good news is that gives the studio ample time to polish the game before it’s released. For now, all we have to go on is the above trailer, which is strikingly beautiful and perfectly displays Campo Santo’s wonderful art style.
