The image above is a press shot of one of Verizon's upcoming Windows Phone 8 handsets, the Samsung ATIV Odyssey. Verizon has already confirmed that it will offer the phone later this year, but we haven't seen it in person yet and still don't know exactly when it will launch or how much it will cost.

We know it will run on Verizon's 4G LTE network and can tell from the photo that it will offer a microSD card slot for expandable storage – something that the Lumia 920 and the Windows Phone 8X don't provide. The device looks just like Samsung's ATIV S, its international Windows Phone 8 device, and its rounded edges remind us a bit of the Galaxy S III, too.

We'll keep you updated with more information on the ATIV Odyssey as it becomes available.
