Huawei has already begun teasing its upcoming P10 flagship. Now, thanks to leaked images, we already have an idea of what to expect.

Evan Blass this week shared press images of the P10, which indicate the device will come in blue, gold, and green. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as color choice is concerned, although green is a tad unusual. But the pictures provide additional hints.

Above is a gallery of the P9

For one, the P10 will move the fingerprint sensor to the front of the device, which goes against market convention. The images also seemingly confirm the device will come with a dual-camera system, with Leica branding still front and center.

The antenna bands are also being moved to more seamlessly integrate with the design, which appears to be aluminum. And instead of Huawei’s logo on the front, it has been moved to the back.

Based on the images, the P10 doesn’t look like anything out of the ordinary, especially considering the LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 are expected to feature bezel-less displays.

We’ll have to wait and see

Without knowing the full story, we’ll refrain from judging the P10 too harshly. Huawei makes excellent smartphones—we’re big fans of the Mate 9—and we expect the P10 to be another feather in the company’s cap.

We’re not sure what internal changes Huawei is will introduce with the P10. When the P9 launched early last year, it came with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, 12-megapixel camera, 4GB of RAM, and a 3,000mAh battery.

Huawei is expected to unveil more about the P10 at an event scheduled for February 26.
