We’ve already seen some hands-on images and a video preview of HTC’s upcoming Sense 3.5 user interface, and while its official launch won’t arrive until the release of the HTC Bliss, an unofficial ROM can now be installed on your HTC Desire HD and your Desire S.

XDA Developers reports that developer ‘Capychimp’ — the person responsible for the first fully functional HTC Sense 3.0 ROM — has built the first custom ROM loaded with HTC Sense 3.5.

Before you rush off to download it, there’s a few things you should be aware of: As you’d expect from the first unofficial release, there are a few bugs. Firstly, Capychimp reports that the camera is “acting up.” We are offered no specifics, unfortunately, but this could be a big issue for those of you who frequently use your device for taking snaps. In addition to this issue, Bluetooth cannot be enabled.

Capychimp’s original forum thread reads:

This rom is based on Bliss WWE ruu
no chinese leak
1.10.401.0 android 2.3.4
Added advance power menu
user apps auto install written by rmk40 readded, known from kingdom
3D homescreen option added
Initial release
camera acting up
bluetooth wont turn on you tell me

If you’re not bothered by the issues and you want to get your hands on HTC Sense 3.5, check out the post over on XDA Developers where you can find links to the ROM. And be sure to let us know how you get on.

Will you be installing HTC Sense 3.5?
