HTC Sensation 4GThe HTC Pyramid has been rumored for some time now, but it appears that the code name is now gone and the real name will be the HTC Sensation 4G.  It'll be landing at T-Mobile this summer in the United States, but prior to that it will land in European countries such as Germany and the UK in mid-May.

HTC has gone with a heavy multimedia focus for the Sensation, even giving it a 16:9 aspect ration on its 4.3-inch qHD screen (540 x 960 resolution).  Also of interest when it comes to the screen is that it is slightly concave so that it will avoid scratching if you should happen to set it down on its face.  And taking advantage of this new screen will be the HTC Watch app which will allow you to rent DVD quality movies and TV episodes on up to five HTC devices.  Although there is DRM (Digital Rights Management) built in that will keep you from feeding it out to a larger screen such as a TV.

HTC Sense, the user interface skin placed over Android by the company, will be getting an upgrade to Sense 3.0 which will for a customizable lock screen that can feed you all sorts of information.  The handset will also be launching with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, so customers will be able to rejoice that they won't have to wait around for that update like Evo 4G and ThunderBolt owners are.
