We've known for some time now that a mini version of the HTC One (M8) was on its way, and now we have an image to go along with those reports.
Notorious leaker @evleaks posted an image this morning of what appears to be the HTC One mini 2. We're not positive yet if this will be the final name of the device, or if the company may choose to go with HTC One mini (M8).
The most notable change in the image is the lack of the secondary lens towards the top of the device, but beyond that we can't tell what other changes may have been made. It also appears as though it will be offered in the same colors of its larger brother.
Hopefully we will learn more details on this device from HTC in the coming days. Considering this appears to be a press render, chances are that it is close to being ready for launch.
Check out the specs for the larger HTC One (M8) below, and leave us your thoughts on how you think HTC may change the device in a mini version in the comments.
