A fresh batch of leaked photos depict the still unannounced HTC One Max yet again, and this time we have another look at the removable back cover.

There’s also another shot that again compares the device to Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 3 phablet, showing off the HTC One Max’s display. As you can see, the black bar on the bottom of the HTC One Max takes away a good deal of screen real-estate, so the screens might actually be really similar in size. On the picture without the back cover, we’re again treated to what appears to be a fingerprint reader on the back of the phone. We can also see a SIM card slot and pins for NFC, though we don’t see a microSD card slot for adding storage. It’s possible that’s hidden on the side for now.

We’re expecting the phone to launch on Verizon Wireless in the United States, at least following a leaked picture of the device with that carrier’s branding. Rumored features include a Snapdragon 800 processor, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, a large 3,300mAh battery, 2GB of RAM and a big 5.9-inch screen with a full 1080p resolution.

ePrice, which leaked the new photos, says that the phone will launch sometime next week, possibly on Oct. 16 or Oct. 17.
