Want to get another look at HTC’s rumored One A9 ahead of the company’s event next week? You’re in luck, because Orange France has spilled the beans. Someone over at the carrier made a booboo and posted a listing for the mid-range phone, though many of the device’s details are left uncertain. Still, a handful of new photos reveal that, yes, HTC’s new phone looks suspiciously familiar.
Here’s where we had to do a double take: the listing pegs the price as €599.90, which translates to about $688 here in the states. That’s a flagship price for a phone that’s expected to do battle with the OnePlus 2 and Moto X Pure Edition. We’ll have to wait and see how much the device retails for, but that price isn’t looking good, especially when you consider devices from Samsung and Apple fall into the price range.
Some of the phone’s rumored specs include a Snapdragon 617 processor, 5-inch Full HD display, 16GB of expandable storage, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS, a fingerprint reader and six different color options. Not bad by any means, and the design looks pretty slick (although I still question why HTC put its logo on front and back).
We’ll find out more final details at HTC’s event on Oct. 20 in New York.
