Before you go wild shooting videos and posting them, do you know what you're going to talk about?  Have you visited the channels of those that are in the same genre as you?  What are they talking about?  What tips and tricks can you pick up from their success?  (without totally copying and/or ripping them off, of course)  You need to have a handle on what is working for people before you can just start posting your videos without any forethought.

All together, Jon packs a lot of good information into this ten minute video, and if this is something you are considering doing, it is a must watch as he gets a lot of the leg work out of the way for you.  There is a saying I'm rather fond of saying that goes, "Why should I reinvent the wheel?", and that is exactly what Jon does in this clip.  He tells you exactly how to build the wheel that is your YouTube channel, and how to go about finding that ever elusive audience.

This series is for you, so if there is a particular topic you'd like Jon to cover, leave it in the comments, and he'll be reading  them. Yes, it may sound a bit cliche, but help him, help you.
