Avengers: Endgame has a marathon-length run time of three hours, which might have you worrying how you're going to afford all of the snacks you'll need to survive it at movie theater prices. There is another option of course. Buying your own candy at a better price. Where do you find the candy you already know and love at a bargain price? From the Dollar Store to Amazon, you've got plenty of options to make sure you're prepped and ready in time for the big movie.

The Dollar Store

It might sound crazy, but one of the best places to snag your favorite candy is the dollar store. With an entire aisle dedicated to candy in movie theater sizes, you can snag boxes of Milk Duds or Snow Caps for just $1 each. If you want more than the usual amount, that's easy too since they carry many of your favorites.

Knowing what stores have what stock is a bit more difficult but regular faves like chocolates and gummies are always in store. If you want to save even more money you can opt for the bargain brands which often run deals like 2 bags of gummies for $1. If you sign up online for their mailing list you can even snag coupons like $3 off a $10 purchase, which drops the price of candy even further!

Dollar General

Dollar General offers up your fave movie sized boxes of candy for just $1, and has tons of cheap options.

Amazon

It should come as no surprise that the place where you can order your favorite movies, or toys, also has a sizeable section for snacks and candy. In fact, you can search "Move Theater candy" and Amazon will show you a selection of your favorite snacks at a much more reasonable price than you'll see at your local theater.

There are a few things to keep in mind when ordering candy off of Amazon though. To begin with, you'll want to make sure that your candy will arrive before you head to the movies. Folks who already have a Prime membership will be able to take advantage of quicker shipping, but for everyone else, some math might be involved. Likewise, in some instances, the candy you want is only available in packs of 12 or 16. It's still much less expensive by unit, but unless you're picking up candy for a group this might prove to be problematic.

Amazon.com

Amazon offers the candy you know and love, but it's often sold in packs of 10 or 12, so be careful and double check before purchasing!

Big Box Stores

Shops like Target, Walmart, and Sam's Club all carry candy year round at great prices. With Easter barely behind us, you may even walk in and see it discounted by 50% or more in order to clear shelves before the next major holiday. Target in particular often sticks candy they are trying to sell for a bargain in the front of the store for under $5.

Local stores don't always sell theater sized boxes, but when they do they are often only $1. You can also grab bulk bags that have snack sized munchies. They also carry resealable bags that might just last you through the entirety of Avengers: Endgame. Maybe.

Target

Target offers up your existing movie theater faves for just $1 but also runs deals on higher end candy and bulk bags!

Nuts.com

If the snacks you want for Avengers: Endgame aren't usually found at the movie theater, we have one last option for you. Nuts.com offers a great selection of snacks that taste delicious but are a step away from movie theater selection. You can pick up nuts, dried fruit, gummy candies, trail mix, chocolate covered sunflower seed, and pretzels, and plenty more to choose from. They even carry favorites like m&ms and sour path kids.

Nuts.com sells most of their products by the pound, which means you can easily decide if you need a pound of chocolate covered pretzels to get you through the movie. They also offer custom trail mix, where you pick everything you want and then order it. In most cases, deliveries will arrive on the next business day, which means so long as you order on time, you can snack in style!
