February is going to be a wonderful month for HBO. That’s because it’s adding Wonder Woman to its movie line-up, but it’s not done there. There’s bunch of other content that is sure to make your winter nights much more enjoyable.
Of course Woman Woman leads the charge for notable comic book movies (and what more can we say about it other than it was a great movie), but coming in close behind is Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. The offbeat flick chalk full of animated interjections from Baby Driver director Edgar Wright is an under-appreciated masterpiece. Present are Wright’s masterful quick cuts, witty dialogue and Michael Cera in a role he was born to play.
E.T., Freaky Friday and the original Alien films are a few other notable movies that will be available during the month.
The return of Last Week Tonight, Atomic Front and 2 Dope Queens headline the original content arriving in February.
