There are some good—like, really good—movies disappearing from Netflix in July. Netflix doesn't ever say what movies will be gone from its library, and in fact the service has made it far more difficult for people to figure that out. Luckily, however, some kind folks have scoured the service to figure out which of our favorite films will no longer be streamable next month. Films like Spaceballs, Dr. Strangelove and Look Who's Talking. The classics.
There are 80 movies in total that are disappearing next month, though Netflix could (we hope) work out its licensing agreements to bring them back. Other movies going bye-bye include Rocky, Rocky II, Rocky III and Rocky IV, Taxi Driver, Event Horizon and The Terminator. That's some good entertainment right there.
As noted by Vulture, however, there are some good movies being added to Netflix in July, too, so it isn't all bad news. You can expect City of God, Bad Santa, The Master and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. By the way, what ever happened to Rick Moranis? He was like the penultimate quirky movie dad of the late 80s/ early 90s.
