Over the past few months we’ve seen the DROID RAZR HD benchmarked, spied by blurry cams and even make its way through the FCC. This time around, we’re looking at what appears to be a nice clean shot of an engineering unit.

The DROID RAZR HD allegedly features a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, an HD display with a resolution of 1196 x 720 and Android 4.0.4.

While it’s uncertain if this is a near-final build of the forthcoming device, we must admit that its Kevlar backing is looking mighty fine. Neither Verizon nor Motorola Mobility has confirmed this device, but hopefully an official announcement arrives sooner than later.

If both companies insist on making us play the waiting game, they could at least reward our patience by shipping this device with Google Android Jelly Bean installed.
