Halo 5: Guardians is almost here. As the Oct. 27, 2015 release date approaches, the Xbox One title has received a brand new launch trailer complete with gameplay footage, CG cutscenes and even a little “Knights of Cydonia” by Muse. Why not?

The game features a campaign with eight Spartans in play. In the single player mode, players will either control Master Chief or Spartan Locke, and that’ll flip-flop over the course of the game.

I had a chance to go hands-on with Halo 5: Guardians‘ campaign at a recent preview event hosted by Microsoft. You can read my thoughts on what I played right here.

Halo 5: Guardians will launch on Oct. 27, 2015. You might want to clear your console’s hard drive a bit, because the thing checks in at 60GB in size.
