Remember Marty McFly's super cool Nike MAG sneakers from the second Back to the Future movie? Of course you do! They light up and tie themselves — how could you forget? 20 years on, Nike has finally made the much sought-after shoe available to purchase, but there's only 1,500 pairs available and they're not cheap.

150 pairs of the shoe will be auctioned off each day over the next 10 days on eBay, with each auction beginning at 08:30 AM PST. And to give you an idea of their price, one pair of size 10 Nike MAG sneakers is currently taking bids in excess of $10,000.

However, those hugely expensive price tags are worth every penny: not only do you get to own a piece of history, but all proceeds go directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research. And what's more, all donations will be matched, effectively doubling the contributions from each auction.

Nike says the MAG shoes are designed to be an exact replica of those warn by Marty in Back to the Future II:

"The 2011 NIKE MAG shoe was designed to be a precise replica of the original from Back to the Future II.

"The aesthetic is an exact match, down to the contours of the upper, the glowing LED panel and the electroluminescent NIKE in the strap.

"The 2011 Nike Mag illuminates with the pinch of the "ear" of the high top, glowing for five hours per charge."

If you want to grab a pair of these ultra awesome sneakers, you have until September 18 to sell your car, your home, your sister… whatever it takes to claim a pair of your own Nike MAG shoes.

Be sure to leave us a comment and let us know if you're one of the 1,500 people lucky enough to grab a pair of these shoes!

All we need now is that hover-board.
