During Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show 2015 briefing in Japan, the company finally confirmed that it would be adhering to the fans of its cult-hit Gravity Rush. Cries for a sequel and a remaster have been incredibly loud since the first game launched, and Sony’s response is even better than expected.

First up is the confirmation that the sequel would be coming to the PlayStation 4. Gravity Rush 2 was announced last December, but no system was confirmed at the time. Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida took the opportunity to confirm the platform and show off some footage. The TGS trailer makes the game look like a co-op experience with the same gravity defying action that made the first game an underdog hit.

Not stopping the party, Sony also confirmed that the original game would be getting a remaster for the PlayStation 4. PlayStation Blog in the U.S. even slated a release date of Feb. 9 in the English speaking world. Sony is wasting no time getting this one out there.

Gravity Rush was originally released for the PS Vita in 2012, and it remains one of the most popular original titles for the console. I bought it for a dollar during a flash sale about half a year back, but I haven’t had the chance to play it with my PS Vita battery unable to last longer than 30 minutes while playing any native games.

It’s always been one I’ve wanted to try out though. Maybe I’ll give it a spin on my train ride to Tokyo tomorrow! Gotta love outlets on the bullet train.
