Google just announced that today, Google Play will now offer TV shows, the option to buy movies and the option to subscribe to magazines. Google partnered with Disney, ABC, NBC Universal, Sony Pictures and Paramount for its Google Movie purchases and TV shows. It also partnered with Hearst, Conde Nast and others for Magazine subscriptions. The content will all be available today.
