Now might be the perfect opportunity to choose what color you want for the Pixel 3. It’s still not official, but Google revealed this week that pre-orders will be taken immediately after the announcement of the new phone. Plus, we know most or possibly all of the colors that are coming.
If it’s a new day, there’s a new Pixel 3 leak. That’s how everything has been going leading up to the global debut next week.
Google’s latest flagship duo will be offered in at least three colors, Android Headlines confirmed. The media outlet obtained photos of both models in black, white, and pink. All three are set to be available from the start, but there might be a mint variant joining them as well. So far, we only have solid evidence of the aforementioned trio.
Here’s the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL in pink, expected to be ‘Sand’ officially:
It looks like a blush more than anything else, so we’re not entirely sure how Google’s drawing a connection between this color and sand. Are there beaches that have pink-colored sand? That’s an important answer to get, or maybe the press renders are just highlighting too much pink.
By the way, the pink variant was name-dropped by insider Roland Quandt last week. He didn’t have any photos for WinFuture, so this leak gives us a first look at it.
As for the other colors, we’ve seen the Pixel 3 in black and white too many times to count. Both are set to be nearly identical to last year’s Just Black and Clearly White. That applies to the larger model, too. Google won’t give the Pixel 3 XL a two-color finish on the backside. Instead, the color you choose will be seen everywhere except on the front where black should be standard.
We’ll be live from the Pixel 3 event on Tuesday, October 9. Expect the Pixelbook 2, Pixel Slate, and Home Hub to get announced, too. It’ll be a busy day, and TechnoBuffalo has the nonstop coverage you’ll need.
