Here it is! Sony Pictures on Thursday released the first trailer for the new Ghostbusters, and it is a glorious sight to behold. It’s been 27 years since the second Ghostbusters came out, but over that period of time, the film’s spirit and fanbase haven’t died, making today’s trailer particularly special. It’s everything we hoped for and more.

This isn’t a sequel, but more of a reboot, with a completely new cast of characters who join forces to eliminate New York City’s pesky paranormal problem. If you’re a fan of the original, you’ll notice that, yes, the cast is now all women, but that shouldn’t make a lick of difference; it’s a non-controversy. Instead, enjoy the trailer for what if offers, which is a lot of hilarious ghost-hunting.

Ghostbusters stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Katie McKinnon as this generation’s Spengler, Stantz, Venkman and Zeddmore. We’ll have a full breakdown of the trailer soon. For now, enjoy what is sure to become an instant classic.

Ghostbusters comes out on July 15, 2016.
