Okay, so it's not a real Amazon Kindle Fire, but it's a damn good imitation. For those of you who just cannot wait until November 15 to get your hands on Amazon's $199 debut tablet and check out that marvelous looking "bookshelf" user interface, you can now get a taster on your iPhone and iPod touch.

It's a hack that transforms the look of your iPhone to resemble Amazon's upcoming tablet, and it will work on jailbroken iOS devices only, courtesy of a developer named "falcon212."

Judging by the video above, it's a really impressive tweak that boasts a number of awesome features, such as scrollable dock icons; customizable wallpapers and dock images; multiple default home screens for things like Newsstand; favorites, apps, and games; and a Weather widget. It also features an RSS news ticker, and it's compatible with both iOS 4 and iOS 5.

Kindle Fire for iPhone hack

The tweak is named simply "Kindle Fire for iPhone," and should be hitting the Cydia Store under the MacCiti repository, and TheThemeOut, according to AppAdvice.

I think Kindle Fire for iPhone is just terrific, and I'd love to try it out for myself. Unfortunately I don't have a jailbroken device.

Will you be downloading the tweak when it hits the Cydia Store?
