We here at TechnoBuffalo are lovers of all things gadget, gizmo and tech. Video games are a part of that world. As a way to share a little bit more about our editors and their weekend habits, we've decided to run a weekly feature every Saturday that dives into what some of the staff are playing.
Whether it's Angry Birds or Bad Company 2, you're likely to find a wide variety of titles and preferences here every time you read. Enjoy.
In between my wife making we watch episodes of
The Barefoot ContessaI'll be kicking it old school with some classic
Super Mario Brothersand washing it down with some pig killing in
Angry Birds. Despite the urging of Noah and Sean, I will not be getting my
Kinectimalson…it cuts into my Tamagotchi time.

With my schedule, I believe I am in my second month of Read Dead Redemption. However, -MASISVE HUGE SPOILER- just happened for me, so I am near the end, and then will be launching into the Undead Nightmare expansion I just picked up in the 2K Rockstar sale. Apparently I will never be done with this game.

Just another typical weekend where I unwind with my girlfriend and family. If I can, and I will, I'll sneak in a little Starcraft 2. Gotta practice those build orders ya know? 14 Hatch.. Pool.. Gas.. Queen.. You Zerg players should know what I'm talkin' about. 😉

I will be playing Madden NFL '11 on Xbox. Considering my Jets were ousted from a potential Superbowl by the Steelers I will match up Mark Sanchez against Aaron Rodgers and see which California Quarterback comes out on top. Typically I root against USC, but in this battle I'm hoping the Trojan stomps the Bear from Cal.

Im planning on playing a little NBA 2K10 on the Wii. I am a big sports fan, and with my recent Wii purchase, I have come to love playing sports game with the motion controls. I grew out of Wii Sports (who hasn't?), so picked up NBA 2K10 to get ballin! Also will not be getting my Kinectimals on, and I have no idea what tamagotchi is…

Since I'm on the go this weekend, I'm going to rely on my iPad an MacBook Pro to get my gaming fix. One game that I have really gotten into lately is World of Goo, an iOS bridge-builder that is hilarious and challenging at the same time. Speaking of hilarious and challenging, I'm playing through Portal on my Mac for the third time due, and I'm making a note here – Portal is an amazing, unique puzzle-platformer that every gamer should get their hands on.

This weekend is pure heavy lifting for me. I plan to continue my recent re-visitations into Black Ops for the 360 and Pokémon Diamond. You better believe it. One of my good friends also slipped me a copy of Darksiders. Word on the street is that this sucker is a crazy blend of Zelda, Metroid and God of War. Finally, I've got a level idea for LittleBigPlanet 2. I don't want to spill too much, but it involves a giant flying squid monster and two laser firing unicorn tanks.
