During the Golden Globes on Sunday night, HBO dropped a teaser trailer for all the content it’s preparing for 2019. We got some nice glimpses at shows like Watchmen and Big Little Lies, but the teaser that stole the show was for Game of Thrones.

As you know, the upcoming season of Game of Thrones is going to be the final season for the epic series and as such, we are expecting a grandiose finale. It will debut in April, four short months away, yet HBO has been super secretive about the upcoming season, only releasing a vague trailer, which is why the new footage is definitely hyping people up.

It’s not much to go on, but it is something. We see some footage of a dragon roaming the sky. But the scene that was most interesting was the one that shows Jon Snow introducing Daenerys Targaryen to Winterfell. Once there, Sansa Stark greets her majesty with the reverential line, “Winterfell is yours, your Grace.”

In the scene, we also get brief glimpses of Brienne of Tarth and Norah Mormont.

If you weren’t already excited about the final season of Game of Thrones, this new teaser will certainly do the trick. HBO still has yet to reveal an exact debut date for the final season other than to say it’ll premiere some time in April, which can’t come soon enough.
