Right off the bat, it’s clear that the Galaxy S8 Plus is the better-looking of the two. It sports an all-glass design, coupled with an edge-to-edge Infinity Display, which — put plainly — is drop-dead gorgeous.
Under the hood, you’ll find a 6.2-inch Quad HQ+ screen, an octa-core 64-bit CPU, 4GB of RAM, a Dual Pixel 12MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP selfie shooter and a 3,500mAh battery.
The iPhone 7 Plus, on the other hand, packs a 5.5-inch Full HD panel, an 2.34GHz A10 Fusion quad-core CPU, 3GB of RAM, a Dual 12MP rear-facing snapper, a 7MP front-facing camera and a 2,900mAh cell.
So, the Galaxy S8 Plus is a lot more powerful than Apple’s flagship. In the real world though, that may not necessarily be the case, as software plays a significant part in making a handset snappy — something iOS excels at.
Check out the chart below to see how the Galaxy S8 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus compare on paper.
