With less than two days to go until Samsung takes the wraps off the much-anticipated Galaxy S8, WinFuture has published a post detailing almost everything there is to know about the handset and its larger sibling, the Galaxy S8 Plus.
Most of the information matches up to what we’ve heard in the past, but there are some new details, like the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus both shipping with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, equipped with autofocus.
WinFuture also shared the entire collection of internal press renders, which showcase the five colors — Black, Blue, Gold, Orchid Grey, and Silver — the handsets will be available in when they finally hit shelves.
As expected, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will pack with a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Infinity Display, respectively. Under the hood, you’ll find an Exynos 8895/Snapdragon 835 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable internal storage and a 12MP rear-facing shooter.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like we’re going to see a larger battery on either device, as this latest leak still points towards the Galaxy S8 being powered by a 3,000mAh cell and the Galaxy S8 Plus sporting a 3,500mAh one (grrr!).

Strangely, there’s no word on the super-fast face recognition feature the firm is reportedly developing. While that doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t be on board the handsets when they launch, it (unfortunately) doesn’t seem likely.
To coincide with the release of its latest flagships, Samsung will kick off a new service program called “Samsung Guard S8” in some markets, letting customers get their unit repaired within just two hours of dropping it off.
It will also reportedly offer all customers a complimentary screen replacement.
This information should be taken with a hefty pinch of salt
Obviously, all of this information should be taken with a hefty pinch of salt (even if it does seem feasible). Fortunately, we don’t have to wait too much longer to see what the company has in store as it’ll take the wraps off both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus on March 29.
