The Galaxy S6 is expected to get an official unveiling early in March at Mobile World Congress 2015, and now we may have an exact date. A press invitation for an event on March 1 at Mobile World Congress obtained by Vietnamese blog Tinhte seems to hint at the upcoming flagship phone.
The invite simply reads "What's Next," with a smaller bit of text in the bottom corner confirming this is a Samsung Unpacked event. Meanwhile, an image up top seems to hint at another curved design. Could this be the Galaxy S Edge?
The rumored smartphone is expected to feature a flexible glass display that slopes down on both sides of the screen. Samsung is also likely to announce a regular Galaxy S6, but the Galaxy S Edge may be the talk of the show.
The Galaxy S6 is likely to offer a Quad HD display, Samsung's own Exynos processor, 4GB of RAM and all the other the high-end specs you could hope for. The company is also expected to introduce at least one special new feature, while offering a fresh design that incorporates metal and glass for a high-end feel.
With Samsung's next press event allegedly set for March 1, it won't be too long before we get an official look at the device.
