The Galaxy S5 will start to hit the U.S. market on April 11, and in anticipation of the launch Samsung has stocked its site with a bunch of new accessories for the smartphone, including new covers, charging systems and more. Let’s take a look at what’s coming soon.
Samsung has the Galaxy S5 wireless charging S-View flip cover for $69.99 in white and black. The standard S View flip cover for the Galaxy S5 is also available, without wireless charging features, for $49.99 in white, black, green, gold and pink. Additionally, Samsung has the Galaxy S5 wallet flip cover in white for $39.99, the standard Galaxy S5 wireless charging cover for $29.99, a protective cover for $24.99, a replaceable 2,800mAh battery for $29.99 and a spare battery charging system for $49.99. The prices are a bit steep, $40 seems like an awful lot for a wallet flip cover, so keep in mind you can always head over to Amazon for the third-party accessories that are usually a lot more affordable.
There’s one big caveat with Samsung’s site, though. If you add any of the Galaxy S5 accessories to your cart and try to check out, you’ll find all are currently on backorder, probably until the phone officially launches. Still, you can sign up to be alerted when they are back in stock, which means you’ll have first dibs on getting your order in.
