AT&T announced on Monday that it will offer the Galaxy S4 Zoom, an Android smartphone with a 16-megapixel camera and optical zoom, starting on Nov. 8.

The Galaxy S4 Zoom is equipped with a 4.3-inch display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, the aforementioned 16-megapixel camera, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It sacrifices some of the features found on the Galaxy S4, but the trade-off is you get a much more powerful camera that should take shots on a par with an entry-level point-and-shoot camera. If you’re not in need of a great camera on your phone, you might be better served by the more powerful Galaxy S4.

The device will cost $199.99 with a new two-year contract or $25 per month on AT&T’s Next early-upgrade plans. Likewise, customers can opt to trade-in an existing smartphone for a $100 credit toward the Galaxy S4 Zoom on a Next plan.
