Sprint has begun rolling out the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Galaxy S4 handsets that are compatible with the carrier’s Spark LTE network. The update brings lots of features and improvements, including the Factory Reset Protection service.
Just like other Lollipop updates for the Galaxy S4, this one brings a revamped TouchWiz user interface with better visuals, and updated Samsung apps that are more in line with Lollipop’s gorgeous Material Design guidelines.
It also adds features like Smart Lock, multi-user support, lock screen notifications, and an improved multitasking layout, and significant improvements to performance and battery life — thanks mostly to the switch to Google’s ART runtime.
The update comes with version number L720TVPUCOD1, and it’s rolling out to customers over-the-air now. If you haven’t already received a notification, you can search for the release from within the software update section inside the Settings app.
